College Visit Guidelines

  •  Juniors are allowed two college visits.

  • Seniors are allowed one college visit and are additionally given a "College Visit Day" in October.

  • A request must be submitted a week in advance to Mrs. Mendez in the Attendance Office

  • Prior to a visit, students are encouraged to download and review the College Visit Guidelines document.

  • After approval of the college visit, students must pick up a College Visit Verification Form from Ms Mendez. The form must be completed and returned to the Attendance Office.

Common Application

 

The Common Application is now open! Below is a document that provides step-by-step instructions for completing the Common Application. There are a detailed set of slides that explain each section of the Common App, and offer tips and best practices for putting together the most thorough Common App possible.


Remember, not all schools require completion of the Common Application. You can search below to see which schools in your list require the Common App. Please feel free to contact Guidance at any time through your application process.

SchooLinks

Bishop Ready uses SchooLinks to help students explore their interests and strengths and develop a course of study that matches long-term goals with an actionable plan.  The Guidance Office will use SchooLinks to track student college interests and applications, senior transcript request, teacher recommendations, and scholarship opportunities.  SchooLinks is an excellent tool for college discovery, career evaluation, ACT preparation, and discovering post-secondary opportunities for all students.
